Conferences and Announcements

Sorry for this unexciting blog post which is full of good information, including how to sign up for your parent-teacher conferences. For some excitement, please check out the pictures of the students working on their salt dough maps. This was an extremely messy, but fun, educational process,

Parent Teacher Conferences -

Sign ups for conferences are available through signup genius. The links are posted below and are also available on the MRA website under News & Events. NOTE: Students do not attend these conferences. We will have free childcare available for those of you who need it. All children over the age of two must be checked in to childcare. For liability reasons we cannot let students hang out on campus unattended. Thank you in advance.

Conferences will be held on Wednesday, November 6th, from 3 to 8, and again on November 7th from 11 to 7. The primary purpose is to go over your student’s goals, and allow you the opportunity to provide input on those goals. Please complete the conference form (found in the parent memo) and bring it with you to the conference. This will help with talking points, and with keeping the conference on track. Please sign up online for your twenty minute slot with your student’s homeroom teacher (this is the place where they get picked up from at the end of the day). Our specials teachers will also be available to meet during those hours, but you do not need to sign up to meet with them.

If you ever feel the need to meet with a teacher and/or Shelley Urben, please let us know and we will make time in our schedules. Our partnership with you is vital to your student’s success.

Girls on the Run -

We are started an academic and physical education program called Girls on the Run designed to motivate and develop character in our young ladies. Unfortunately, this program is only available to elementary age ladies. If we had a few adults (men or women) willing to commit to this program we could start another chapter for our older ladies (probably grades 5-8). If this sounds interesting or you would like more information, please contact Ms. Shelley.

As always...if you have any questions or concerns do not hesitate to contact me directly.
