Halloween, November, and Conferences

Dear Families,


First, thank you to our wonderful room parents, Kelly and Barbara, for putting on a great class party. Also, thank you to everyone who brought in treats and attended our class Halloween party. From banana ghosts to pumpkin ring toss, it was a great success.

This week, the Huckleberries will wrapping up their unit on narrative writing. They will be working on publishing a piece to share at conferences. During thematic studies, the Huckleberries will consider the multi-generational migration cycle of the Monarch Butterfly.


This week:

* Parent-Teacher Conferences: Wednesday, November 6th and Thursday, November 7th If have not yet signed up, HERE is the link.

* No school for Conferences and Veteran's Day: Thursday, Friday, and Monday, November 7th, 8th, and 11th

* Book Fair: All next week, including during conferences, the Usborne book fair will be set up in the gym.


Hope all are enjoying the extra hour from daylight savings.
