Migration Maps

Dear Families,

This past week the Huckleberries applied their cartography skills to map the west coast. Upon this, the routes of each of our focal species migration paths will be drawn. Quadrant, by quadrant, the Huckleberries examined the curvature of the land and water to draw their best maps. With the water already painted, the maps are looking beautiful!

There is also much building excitement in our classroom as our caterpillar friends are beginning to change:

We all will be watching closely for any changes in the coming couple weeks. All are welcome to observe our classroom insects, however please do not touch or speak too loudly close to them as they are in a delicate stage of their life cycle.

Looking forward:

* Halloween Class Party: Thursday, October 31st from 2:15 to 3:00. As sent out by our lovely room parent, HERE is the sign up. All are welcome.

* Halloween Costumes: Students are welcome to wear their costumes, but as noted in the parent memo masks and anything that resembles a weapon are not allowed. Props or accessories that are not weapons are allowed, but I will happily hold onto them until the party so they are not distracting to anyone. If you have any questions, please ask.

* Parent-Teacher Conferences: Wednesday, November 6th and Thursday, November 7th. HERE is the sign up.

Hope all are enjoying these brilliant autumnal weekend days.

best,

-Ms. Fety
