Oregon and Washington Native American Tribes

Good morning!

We are having a ton of fun learning about the different Native American tribes in both Washington and Oregon. This week, we are conducting some research using chromebooks and practicing our note taking skills. We are also making some traditional Native American masks this week. The students are very excited about this!

Next week, we are making totem poles and finishing up learning about the categories: government and leadership, food, weapons and religions practices of Oregon and Washington's N.A. tribes. Please bring in any tin cans either small or big to the classroom by next Wednesday.

***Make sure to bring your button blankets back in tomorrow for the Spring Performance!

Potlatch Information:

***We will be sending out a sign-up genius today for the Potlatch on march 20th at 1:30pm. Please be on the look out for this today.

Writing and Reading -

We are focusing on finishing up our Narrative Writing stories. The students will be done with this by Spring Break.

That's all for now. Thank you for all you do.
