MRA Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteering at MRA is a wonderful way to interact with school staff, to meet other parents and to form lasting relationships that strengthen our community. Throughout the year, various volunteer opportunities will be posted and sent via Bloomz.

All volunteers are required to complete the following:

  • Criminal Background Check (every three years): Click here to get the updated form from the ODE website by clicking on the link that says 581-2282-M (see image below)

  • Complete the online Child Abuse Prevention (annually).

To take these trainings, you will need to register in our Safe Schools system. To do so, go to the SafeSchools homepage,

https://molallariveracademy-or.safeschools.com/register/abca5f4a,

click “Register” (To the right of the “Sign in” button).

On the next screen you will be prompted to enter the registration key: abca5f4a

Next you will be prompted to enter some basic information, including a username of your choice, which you will use to login to the system moving forward.

To begin the courses, click on the title then follow the prompts.  To earn a certificate of completion, you must complete all sections of the courses and pass the quiz. You do not have to take SafeSchools courses in one sitting, however you will need to complete each section in entirety to move on to the next section.

Once the course is complete, you can then print off your certificate and submit it to your school office. All volunteers will need to submit the certificate prior to volunteering.
