LEGO League Jr. Robotics
It's never too early to discover Stem. Clarkia (3rd and 4th) and Huckleberry (1st and 2nd) students have the opportunity to join Boomtown Build, a LEGO League robotics program. Boomtown Build is designed to introduce Stem concepts to kids age 6-10 while exciting them through a brand they love - LEGO. The program runs after school from 3:10-4:15 p.m. during September - December. Early registration/payment is required as space is limited. The cost is $85 for the entire season.
The Zumba Kids program combines movement, music and community in a class exclusively for children. These classes are rockin’, high energy dance parties packed with specially choreographed, kid-friendly routines. These classes help develop a healthy lifestyle and incorporate fitness as a natural (and fun!) part of children’s lives. It’s all about feeling fearless on the dance floor, having fun and dancing like no one’s watching!! Zumba will run through October-November and is available for grades 1-7. Classes are held after school on Mondays at 3:30 p.m. The cost is $5 per class and registration/payment is required in advance.
