Dear parents,
In all computer classes we spent the first several weeks of school talking about digital citizenship and what it means to be a safe and kind user of the Internet. Please ask your child what they took away from this and have a conversation about the technology rules in your house to keep them safe. As we wrap that up Clarkia will continue working on typing basics and keeping their hands on the home row. Alders will learn about Google Drive and how to use it to keep themselves organized throughout their school career here at MRA. Cedars are starting to learn about Google Sheets through a project in which they each start a business that they might enjoy running later in life. They will come up with the products that they want to sell, the prices for them, and use a spreadsheet to calculate total revenue and profit!
